The eBooks published by the Fashion and Design Club are the result of the cumulative efforts of many individuals. Here you will find information about the researchers who have thoroughly researched the public domain to obtain relevant, insightful and sometimes unpublished information on the brands. The Fashion and Design Club research team is comprised of individuals who are in the know about fashion and design, social media experts, and people having financial and accounting expertise and acumen. For each contributor, we have tried to provide you with a portrait, a brief description of the individual and a link to the social media platform or website of their choice.
Senior Researchers

Sam Elliott-Black
Sam graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in Fashion Brand Management in 2014. He then went on to become a researcher for the club upon graduating. He now works as a Trainee Fashion Brand Manager in Manchester, runs a successful pre-owned fashion eBay shop, as well as still working for the club.

Lucy Amos Roscoe
Lucy graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in Fashion Brand Management in 2014. She then went on to become a Brand Manager for Oh Polly, an online clothing company. After this, Lucy became the CEO of Querencia Marketing for two years before she left to travel around Italy and Dubai. She now runs her own Graphic Design business, Lucy AR Designs.

Joke Adejumo graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2012. He is currently the International Relations Projects Coordinator at the University of the Arts London, a position he has held since June 2014.

Natalie Brocklehurst is currently teacher training in Secondary and FE establishments across the North-West covering Design and Technology: Textiles, Fashion, Product Design and Graphic Design, with an aim to complete a MA in Behaviour and Educational Psychology. She graduated from Teeside University with a BA Honours in Fashion Design in 2015.

Sian Miller is the Co-Founder and Director of Brush Limited, a luxury beauty concierge service for the Home Counties. She has a BA in Fashion Design from the University for the Creative Arts Rochester.

Scarlet Ordish has 10 years experience in Event Management, more specifically music and festivals. She was the Assistant Event Manager at The Met Theatre in Bury and the coordinator of 150 volunteers and merchandise manager at Head For The Hills Festival. In November 2018, after ten years in the role she decided to move on and will be spending the next 2 years travelling and working in Canada. Other work experience includes Design & Research at The London Fashion & Design Club working on both writing, research and brand identity. Scarlet has a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Brand Management from the University of Lancashire.

Peta Searle graduated from De Montfort University with a first-class degree in Arts and Festivals Management. She has experience with 2020 Media International and Curve Theatre. Courtney Nicholson’s practical experience includes researching, writing articles/features, blogging and magazine design. She graduated from DMU with a BA Honours Degree in Media and Journalism.

Suzannah Gabriel graduated with a first in Media and Communications at DMU. She is interested in fashion, photography and storytelling. This formed the basis of her dissertation where she looked at the sexualisation of women in advertising in Vogue and Cosmopolitan. As a result of this, she aspires to go into Marketing or communications in the fashion or tech industries.
